What is coaching?

Before we begin, it's important to decide if coaching is the best kind of help for you and your particular concerns.

  • Coaching is not a substitute for psychotherapy or mental health treatment.
  • It doesn't treat mental health or substance abuse problems.
  • Coaching is not a healthcare service and therefore is not reimbursable by insurance.
  • Coaching focuses on the present and future, it does not delve into the past to resolve issues from your childhood or seek to understand root causes of behaviors.
  • Coaching is present-focused and goal-oriented.

What's the difference between coaching and psychotherapy?

Fees:

$180 per single coaching session (50 minutes)

$1000 per six session package. This is typically scheduled as two sessions during the first month and then one session per month for the next 4 months.

$100 per 30 minute session (for established clients as maintenance)
